Double chocolate chip cookies

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

I just had to share the cookie goodness with you because these are amazing! Chocolate chocolate chip cookies, oh my. As soon as I found the recipe on Cupcakes and Cashmere, I knew I would have to make them asap. They're a bit too sweet for husband, but perfect for a chocoholic such as myself. And the best thing about them is that they're still chewy. I love me a chewy cookie, but usually fail to achieve the right texture. Not this time!

  2. Yes to chewy cookies! I can't remember if I've told you this or not - but I never thought of myself of a baker. And my baking adventures have thus far been limited to cakes, slices and shortcrust pastry. I think it might be cookie time for me soon.

And randomly... were you at Randwick Junction last night? I got off the bus and there was a girl dressed in yoga gear, waiting for a bus, that looked like you.

If you would like to delete this comment instead of letting the whole world know you hang out in Randwick - please do! M xx

  3. Marfio - no that wasn't me in Randwick, though I was wandering the streets of Sydney last night wearing yoga gear :)

And you should totally bake some cookies! I'm so sorry I haven't emailed you that recipe yet! I'll do it tomorrow...

  4. I thought I'd seen you because the girl and I both looked at each other in quite a startled way - I must have gotten off the bus too dramatically or something.

Thanks for sending on the recipe - if I find dried cherries, they may be CNN's post-camp treat (or not, as I have just remembered he doesn't like cherries - funny man).
