I miss...

Wednesday, June 1, 2011

... the mountains. I miss snow, evergreens, and snowboarding. I miss my family and my friends. I miss the neighbourhood where I grew up and the tiny island where my dad now lives. I miss my dad's dog, Scout, who I've mentioned in this post. I'm sad that the Canucks are finally in the Stanley Cup finals and I can't watch it. I miss home. And don't get me wrong, I LOVE where I live now, but sometimes, well sometimes I get homesick. xx

  3. I know how you feel... when I was living in London sometimes I longed to be back in Australia. It's a big deal to move away from everything familiar and dive into the unknown. Such a great adventure and life experience, though! xx claire

  6. Gaby, that's so cute, our dog is named Scout and your guy is such a cutie. As for missing Vancouver?! You should come visit sometime. It really is a fabulous place to live and sorry to hear that you are homesick. If it's any consolation it's been raining a lot lately! That damn Vancouver weather. ;-) xx veronika
