Here's hoping the cool change arrives tonight!
I was heavily pregnant during an awful hot February a couple of years ago. The best thing for me - sitting inside with all the curtains drawn and my feet in a bucket of ice cold water. Ahhhh...
ReplyDeleteI am so not a hot weather person either! Cohen was a December baby and I felt like I was wearing a permanent hot water bottle the whole time. Fingers crossed for a cool change indeed. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how I miss summer... Eating watermelons and popsicles, painting my toes red - ah! Can't wait! But unfortunately, here in Germany we're right in the middle of Winter - and this morning we woke up to everything being freezing cold and white outside. Ugh!

you should invest in a baby pool early and pop it in your yard/on your balcony. Fill it with cold water and sit on a chair with your feet in it while you read :)

What language(s) do you translate? Before our daughter came along, I did some translating for the non-profit organization I worked for; I always find it fascinating to talk to others who've done this type of work, and in what areas they most use it.
