Last week, in the middle of a multi-day argument with the husband, I came home to find a wonderful surprise. An "I'm sorry" gift that worked wonders - the Gorman backpack (or mochila as I'm calling it, since it's so much like the traditional Colombian craft) that I had been coveting ever since this post.
I've worn it every day since, and I've been surprised at just how useful a backpack can be. I can fit yoga clothes, a snack, a notebook, a book, a litre of water, sunscreen and various other bits and bobs and not feel like my arm is falling off. I'm totally converted!
Thanks again husband. I love it (and you too).

Oh what a lovely surprise! I could buy almost everything in gorman. That will make a super nappy bag too. Everything crossed that you're able to come along for the day with Pia. It would be such a grand day and an absolute delight to meet you. Have a beautiful day :) x

What a super husband! This mochila is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy the odd 'sorry' gift every now and then...although I could do without the fighting in the first place. Sam always gets me flowers - she knows they will instantly cheer me up, and I'll be happy for days! (I may have to hint abut this gorgeous bag though ;) )
