to do

Thursday, March 21, 2013

Today I prettied up my desk so I would feel inspired to plug away on my list-of-things-I-don't-want-to do-but-have-to-anyway. All I really want to do today is sit around, read the new issue of Kinfolk that just arrived in the mail, have a bath and maybe eat a croissant (or two, or three...). But there are classes to plan, playlists to make, emails to answer and laundry to do.

And that list, well it now includes things like: plan blessingway, buy a dryer, buy cloth diapers, clean stroller, book flights, buy travel insurance, figure out maternity leave and on and on... Less than two months to go, not that I'm anxious or anything.

  4. What an inspiring space you've created! I go with the bandaid approach to getting yucky jobs done (you know the brace youself and rip it off quickly approach?) Just do one day of list kicking over and then it's croissants and baths aplenty without that feeling hanging over your head. Best of luck lovely :) x

  5. I think crossiant eating, indulgent bathing and magazine scouring sounds like a grand idea! In 10 weeks time, you'll wish for those simple pleasures more than EVER! Make the most of this quiet, alone time. Flights to Tassie?? xx

  6. It all feels like packing for school camp but on a grander scale doesn't it? You think you'll never be prepared and you spend so long packing everything but you can't feel satisfied until you're there and everything is fine!

You have a clean blog and I like the way you are telling the story.

    Good luck with the pregnancy.

  9. Tidying up my desk has been on my to-do list since forever (which I should add that I have lots of items on the list that are waiting for me to do). Your post just reminded me. Plus your desk looks clean and organised unlike mine.
